Palazzo Mannaioni, an historic 16th century mansion, stands along the fortified walls of Montaione, a medieval town on the border between the provinces of Florence, Pisa and Siena: one of the most beautiful areas in Tuscany, and one of the richest in history.
The guests of the hotel can enjoy all the advantages of the surrounding tourist and cultural locations, unique in all the world - from the most famous, like San Gimignano and Volterra - to the least well known, like the village of Certaldo Alto and the Chapels of San Vivaldo, the Jerusalem of Tuscany. The rooms face partly on the lovely Italian garden with its elegantly shaped pool, equipped with hydromassage and jets of water. The poolside bar, open until late in the evening, offers drinks, snacks and cocktails.
The Hotel has two accesses: one from town and the other from the ancient walls. The restaurant De' Mannaioni is located in the old olive press room with a spectacular rib-vaulted brick ceiling. Here guests can enjoy the typical dishes of Tuscan Cuisine revisited in a modern key but with a close eye on tradition.
